Gca Player Movements 2012/2013

If Mano merges, is that any different to getting relegation, in regard to clearances? I know clubs are circling...

Also what is confirmed for GCA changes.

Buchanan to GW
Davies & Vines to Footscray
Have not heard much from Grovedale, East, Joeys.

Mano won't merge. I don't think talks ever got beyond the polite enquiry stage. They shouldn't have any problems with fielding 4 sides in GCA2 as now all their veterans can play in the 1-day comp in GCA2 4ths - they didn't want to play 2-dayers last season.

Dead set moddewarre would want to flog the cheque book or there turf wicket will be used in D3 the following year. We had an annoucement, we made it.

If you are convinced we are a basket case, feel free to come down and have a look around, talk to a few blokes down there and actually find out fact over fiction, feel free to drop in.

Add more to this
Joel Davies played for Geelong in the VCA before going to South Australia to try his luck and played some State 2nd eleven games, i think Vines played in the GCA coutry week side last year and did quite well.
I dont know why Geelong wouldnt have tried to get Davies to go back especially with the loss of Buchanan, why would they travel to Footscray to play VCA when Geelong is on there doorstop? maybe they both work or haved moved to Melbourne or $:)

Vines also played as an opening bat for Vic Country side last season where he score two 50's as well as playing Vic Country U/21s where he captained the team.

Do any clubs accommodate fly in/fly out players?

Edit: I'm looking at playing in Geelong this season and I am looking for a club willingly to accommodate the above. PM me for my credentials or if you are interested, cheers.

Liam Buchanan has officially signed for Geelong West, which has to give them the strongest batting line up in div 1 by a fair margin. Matt Kennedy is also apparently coaching Waurn Ponds in quite a bizarre appointment

are you guys being serious 3rds player??? if he isnt playing at lara then he must be coaching little river???? so if he got a coaching job he cant be that bad could he?? remebering he is only 21

Don't need to be a good player to be a coach! Youd hope river would think that too cos looking at his form he hasnt been great n if he coaches to the level he plays they cant expect much this season. And age doesn't come into it u don't need to be old to be good.

The kids got talent but yet to show how good he really is, if div 3 players are looking at playing div 1, you would think that they would have to dominate div 3 to make the grade.

yous are both right in your own perspective i played junior rep cricket with him and he was very good so i guess we will just have to wait and see!!!

Can Guarantee that Nathan Kenyon is signed, sealed and captain/coach of Little River, with a new committee, new faces and new resolve.

Will be a different looking Little River this year, and with our 3 16 year olds that scored a few 50's between them, are another year older - Lots of work to do, rome wasnt built in a day, but we are heading in the right direction.
