I’d imagine that N.E.W. Would lose their points in this game. Absolutely no excuse not to know the rules of the competition. It’s pretty straightforward, batsmen in G Grades must retire at 50 and only comeback once everyone has batted.
They classified it under a certain charge hence early plea and reprimand!
It should have gone straight to the tribunal and been charged with deliberately attempting to change the condition of the wicket. It’s a disgraceful act and warrants at least 4-6 matches. It was a premediatated decision...
If this is true regarding sand and taking it on field and then dropping it then the DVCA need to give the match review guys the ass. This is a 4 to 8 matches if this is fact at the very least. I heard it was rocks being flicked on the pitch but if the sand story is true then it’s an absolute...
If you mean Lauded as in claiming catches that bounce in front of slip fieldsmen then sure. Deserved to win they did but a pretty ordinary act and one that has no place in local cricket.

Wouldn’t have thought so, as I was present at Plenty’s rooms that night as well. As I was also at the sub committee meeting that was held after it of which you weren’t present. At no time did they ever mention they wanted to take over or get involved in the Executive. I spoke to Mark many times...
For what it’s worth Lovey and Wardy never made noises about taking over, their noises were about the DVCA merging with the other two comps and how it was a bad idea, of which everybody around the comp except a couple of members of the executive agree. All clubs went to a meeting which they...
