    the consensus and your tip

Re: the consensus and your tip All depends on who bats first and what the pitch is like at Wesley. If Xavier bat first, I'd back Melbourne for the premiership. Otherwise xavier to comfortable outright wesley by tea on saturday and take the premiership. Melbourne to beat caulfield on first...

Who has had the best decks and grounds?

Re: Who has had the best decks and grounds? Geelong Grammar would have to be the best place to play at. Pitch not so good. geelong college also very nice ground. Worst spots easily Wesley and Hailebury.

    Next Year

Re: Next Year As well as teammorale's statement above, rocksy, you are a fool to believe that a year in the 2's will better prepare you than a year in the 1's. Also, MGS will only retain a few players from this year who "know how to win cricket games" which doesn't really give them any...

    Next Year

Re: Next Year Some good stuff here Rocksy, few gaps though. Brighton should really dominate next year, but from what they showed this year, I don't think that same team will be good enough to dominate. Still a very good side and would have to be favourites at this early stage. Drummond...

    Best spinners

Re: Best spinners I think it's fair to say that Bett has confirmed himself as no.1 bowler with over 10 wickets in the three innings he has bowled in in 2009

    Triggered!

Re: Triggered! Twirl clearly has no idea what he is talking about, If you appeal enough times and appeal loud enough, APS umpires will give anything out. It's unfortunate, but true

Best value for money bat, between $300-$450 AUD

Re: Best value for money bat, between $300-$450 AUD Definitely the fisher custom for about $450. Best value cricket bat if you're not spending the really big bucks.

    Fisher Bats

Re: Fisher Bats Great guy to talk too, really knows his cricket bats well. They're a very good bat and last a fair while as well. Make sure you tell him all about your game and stuff and he'll craft something to suit you.

    New Zealand batting

Re: New Zealand batting Whichever way you look at it, New Zealand's batting is still dismal and will be the reason that they won't win a lot of test matches. Teams like Australia bat all the way down the order to no. 9 or even 10 where as once you get NZ 7 down, thats as good as all out.

    The Worlds Best.

Re: The Worlds Best. Tendulkar is my favorite batsman of all time but I don't rate either of fleming or inzamam as being anywhere near the rest of these players Tendulkar Lara Ponting Pietersen Jayawardene (prefer Sangakarra though) Fleming Inzamam
