Trust It's frustrating when you look like you've never even heard of the word cricket when you go to the first couple of trainings, I am Hoping it'll come back with time and not too much time either. I want to be back taking wickets :P

So after an off season of playing rugby It's finally time for cricket again but I've come back and completely lost all my deliveries, I have Not Toppie Nor Quicker ball, I'm not landing anything in the right areas and I'm getting little to no turn. I'm just wondering if anyone is able to shed...

thats nice... really would enjoy something like that near my place, my town only has one set of 5 synthetic nets... it does the job though

so far as i know once your into hard ball cricket it's full 11 a side teams... thats a nice little wicket there too, and just accross the road.

1 Day before adelaide and there's been some changes what does everyone think of bollinger and harris?

Are their any drills or exercises that can help me with bowling a fuller length or will it just come with time...

I'd say it was, The sound of the crowd on that third ball was amazing...

deadset you guys have it way too complicated in england... In australia you play terrier or "kanga" cricket until U12's then it's on to 30 over, hard ball, full rules matches... harden up guys...

Good advice boris, I plan on getting in behind the ball machine this afternoon at training and setting up some swinger bowling with it just to work out some kinks.

it reminds me of a rep game for far north coast i played there was one bloke who was clocked at 135km/h as his quickest ball, i cant remember his average... anyway point of the story is that the bowler from the other end was the one getting the wickets and destroying the team, and he did it by...

I really think that so long as nathan hauritz is at home watching on the couch we've got a fighting chance, It just depends on whether or not our top 4 can lay a decent platform and not pressure our middle order too much...

One thing I can say is bowling is about power, and the definition of power is the combination of speed and strength... so in saying that you need to be able to be quick but strong, so you dont want to become too bulky espescially in the bicep/tricep region because this will degrade your speed...

Ok so a wet weekend has meant that only a very wet game could be played but no video shoot, I'll have to wait for some sun to head to the nets...

Ok so in yesterdays game I was opening and usually i'm pretty solid and can hold up an end while my partner plays his shots... but yesterday the bowling attack had a strong wind to work into from one end and with from the other, I was fine with the bowler going with the wind and handled him well...
