Look what I found that my grandfather was hiding away. I also found Don Bradmen's "Farewell to cricket" autobiography from 1950.

Your grandfather must have been a Donald Bradman devotee....
I think he must have gotten them through our family connection with Ray Lindwall who played under Bradmen's leadership for many years.
