Here are some good reads....
1. What Is a Googly The Mysteries of Cricket Explained
2. Bob Woolmers Art and Science of Cricket
(books on cricket fundamentals)
3. Out of the box Watching the game we love
4. The States Of Indian Cricket
(I am an Indian and I loved these two books, particularly 3)
5. Penguins Stopped Play ( now that is a book I loved reading the most, its a fiction and a super hilarious one)
finally this
I havent read it still but have received high praises for it... someone told me that the book says that almost 90% of international cricket matches are fixed...
yes i am so getting this book next time i visit a store

Look what I found that my grandfather was hiding away. I also found Don Bradmen's "Farewell to cricket" autobiography from 1950.
They're all in mint condition.. I've got some reading to do.

I knew about Bradman albums... never got lucky to see whats in it...
Your grandfather must have been a Donald Bradman devotee....
The best cricket book I've ever read, if you love playing cricket you'll love that book, really gets to the heart of what the game is about.

Trescothicks book is awful, to be honest I was looking forward to reading it, but the first forty pages and I gave up - he sounds like a bloke you'd never ever want to know. Someone tell it gets better and I might give it another go.

Your grandfather must have been a Donald Bradman devotee....
I think he must have gotten them through our family connection with Ray Lindwall who played under Bradmen's leadership for many years.
