Not sure what went on with the FOW brickie. I had only heard they were 1 or 2 for 110 and they started chirping on the deck thinking the job was done. I think then something like 5/20 LOST. Not unlike the LS game. You know my feeling on imports Bricky!!!!!
I'll have a go with an * as they could all go the other way.
BU (6th) vs Lower (3rd) BU
Heidelberg (4th) vs OP (7th) H
Banyule (2nd) vs LS (1st) BAN
Boro (9th) vs Eltham (5th) E
Mill Park (10th) vs Mernda (8th) MP
OP's deadest pathetic. 4/161 AO 172. My god, if no imports what is this club all about? The number 3 made 80 odd off 40 odd balls and they still rolled over?? Geez if I was forking out the dosh, I wouldn't be happy
Not sure Banyule will chase the 233. I reckon that game goes the other way.
Ladder then looks like this;
Makes for a very interesting penultimate round.
Saw half the LE and Heidelberg T/20 game, Heidelberg posted 214 which was impressive. LE had a good crack early but plenty of starts no big score, that was difference. No Cashen for HCC. Could REOCC actually win this thing? They're on a roll
Very good win by Banyule given they were 7/103 and Heidelberg's chase down of 257 impressive as well. Banyule, BU, OP's and LS all play 3 contenders, Lower 2 and Eltham and Heidelberg 1. Paradians very vulnerable if the imports fail
Big round next with most contenders playing each other. Would expect Heidelberg would be sending Mill Park in if they win the toss. An outright win might throw things in the air.
Banyule and Op's have tough runs home and both are right up against it this week. I think they both miss.
Blokes and clubs who whinge and moan about the T20 comp would the first to say 'why don't the comp try something different'. Fair dinkum, I might be Old, but at least I'm prepared to move with the times.
Everyone very very bullish about OP's. I'd be very wary, not many come down and go straight back up. I think this will be the case with OP's. They may scrape in but history suggests they will be a midway club at best.
