Re: APS Squad - Your Final Team
and btw, no keeper can live up to the standards of max wakefield who will be looking to have a full season next year. dont mean to talk him up to the point where it gets annoying, but he is THE keeper of the comp.
Re: Parisi's domination
hes slade. who would have more than coped in parisi's spot. and i dare say, he could have done a better job. MGS players seem more down to earth than the SC boys. i think it has something to do with them going to the best school in victoria and therefore they think...
Re: Parisi's domination
parisi is not clearly the best in the aps. please dont insult the rest of the competition by calling him so. there are lots of better bowlers than he.
Re: Aps 2008/9
i dunno how you could put scotch down there. they are a quality cricketing school who generally speaking always manage to pump out a competitive team. brighton are nothing. neither are skevs.
Re: APS Squad - Your Final Team
how can there only be 1 player from HC in the APS team when we killed all opposition all year?
its a joke. its like the labor party is running this comp!
Re: Aps 2008/9
hes not awesome! he couldnt get a gig in subdistrict 2's last year. how is that awesome?
hes got a lot of maturing to do before anyone can consider him awesome. at the moment, hes a potential. he needs to deflate his head a bit...
Re: Captain of APS in 2007/08
i reckon SC were the most overated team this year. lost to CGS in abysmal style. they clearly didnt want the premiership bad enough. gotta say that theres some discipline issues there and the motivation wasnt present. just relied on a few players all year.
XC...
Re: Aps Team Vs Blokes Who Should Have Or Were Stiff Not To Make It!
haha, well what does that say about your teams batting?
anyway, i dont want to get bitter, all im saying is that if you bowl 30+ overs a game, i should think that youd EXPECT to get 4+ wickets each innings, and thats the...
Re: APS Season 2006/2007
correct. i thought that my 'location' (see left) would have given that away, me being the only person in the HC 1st team without an anglo name. anyway
ive had a ripper time on this site this year, and an even better time playing on friday arvos and saturdays...

Re: Aps Team Vs Blokes Who Should Have Or Were Stiff Not To Make It!
cosgrave was overated. he may have taken a lot of wickets during the year, but he bowled 30 odd overs on the w/e.
if i hadve bowled 36 overs on the w/e i couldve beaten some teams outright myself!
Re: Scholorships in APS
the APS would be a terrible standard competition if it werent for scholarships. HC are cutting back massively.
if youre going to talk about HC and where they put their funding. most of it goes into teachers, HC has a small class size policy where all unit 3/4...
Re: Final Round of 2006/07 Season
HC demolished XC. noteable performers = tormey 87, bayard 91*, heinrichs 3/20, tormey 3/10(ish)
all three of those blokes leaving as in year 12.
