    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I didn't get to respond for some time. I did read it though. So I realized by releasing the ball later, I was bowling quicker and the ball was skidding and going much faster. I also subconciously stopped imparting side spin and therefore I have a quicker delivery now. This is something I...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Things have changeda quite a bit since last season. I'm playing slightly higher division in the 50 over format, but also captaining our T20 team. I quite matured since last season, I'm able to use my angle, turn, flight and set fields based on my strength and weakness that I couldn't last year...

Thanks for the suggestion guys, I'll start doing all of that and RIP my grammar and spelling. I was so out of it that I didn't know what the heck I was typing lol. This injury reminds me of Mike Tyson's famous quote "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth". In my head, I was...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

LOL the issue is i'm on the slower side of the my Spin bowling, even though I vary my pace, flight and dip he has enough time to pick and play. Someone wanna be dick coach moron, made me sprint at full speed while I wasn't finished stretching, I pulled my hipflexor and the doc says I should...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

There is a new player at my academy and I'm having issue bowling leg spin to him. He is a compulsive sweeper but a very good one. He slog sweeps, paddle sweeps, you name any kind of sweep, he does it. I bowl at off stump, he goes across and sweeps, if I bowl outside off stump the motherf***er...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

This was exactly my plan, but the issue was when I got hit for 2-3 boundaries in the first over that was the end of it. and it doesn't help when your whole team is stacked with "Allrounders". I never even got to be in the zone in most matches, even in those games that I did really well.

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

That is exactly why I dropped my variations and just stuck to variations of leg break and googlies. Generally when I'm warmed up in nets, all I have to do is think about bowling flighted deliveries or quicker deliveries and my body will do its thing on its own. When in game, without getting...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Not a bad season. Where do you play ? Mostly bad bowling, the issue was waking up at 5:30 am for an 8AM start. No matter how well I was rested, it was just hard to bowl well from ball 1 in a T20 game. This was due to not warming up, generally in nets I bowl shit for the first 10-15 minutes...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

How did everyone's season go ? I had a pretty inconsistent season, I was put into the 20 overs side, some days i finished it off with 2-3 wickets for 15 to 20 runs and some days I was taken off after going for 30-40 runs in first 2 overs. Something has to be done regarding this.

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Today I started of bowling 2 full tosses in the first 2 balls that were hit for sixes, then bowled 2 singles and I completed my 1st over giving up 14 runs. That would also be my last over for the day. On top of that, I did scoring book since i was a #11 batsmen and the temperature today was 34*...

"Reverse Googly" is the name I want to give. It just sounds more devastating, Afridi actually used to bowl this few times. Which finger do you spin it out of ?

The Indian Paul Adams aka Shivil Kaushik who played in the 2017 IPL season has arrived at our club. https://www.iplt20.com/video/7699/m28-gl-vs-kxip-shivil-kaushik-3-wickets This actually gives me more confidence, this means our club's spin bowling is lacking and I can potentially impress our...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Just got destroyed by a David Boon look alike in his late 40s for 4 sixes. He hit me for a six in the first ever ball I bowled. He destroyed our quicks too but hit me for two gigantic sixes which almost killed a dog. My teammates were very supportive but their body language said otherwise. I'm...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Even kids who held cricket bats before learning how to crawl have no idea how leg spin works. Couple of younger guys ask me questions, but they are never in the mood to learn, they are looking for me to say one thing that will somehow miraculously change their performance forever. One of the...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Great stuff, I too have recovered after being hit few times this season. I'm actually impressed with myself, I got smashed 2 weeks ago in a game for 14 runs in 3 deliveries after bowling a maiden, 2 wicket over and I literally didn't care. EVen today I got smashed for a full toss six and a...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

This weekend sucked. Saturday game(t20) got rained out. On Sunday(T20) it was an 8:00AM game again, the pitch was damp, grass was 5 inches tall in some places, the astro turf was splashing water whenever the bowlers bowled and spinners struggled to turn. We had 6-7 bowlers in the side and all...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

The biggest hurdle for me was the mental aspect . Even If I bowled well, I'd be worried about getting smashed the next ball. It took me 2-3 years to come over that and during this time I didn't even play organized cricket. I'm at a point that I no longer care about getting hit for big sixes but...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

It actually went pretty well. I finished my 4 full overs, gave 12 or 13 runs and picked up 2 wickets. Keeper & a fielder dropped a catch and there were 3 other hard chances that went down. First 2 of overs my fielding was way too defensive and after 2 overs I brought the fielders in. I played...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

Leg spin bowling is one heck of a drug and I'm just starting to get high off it after years of suffering and toiling. The best decision I've ever made is to join the best and most professionally ran Cricket Academy in North America back in December. We have Shane Shillingford of West Indies and...

If everyone here thinks you are annoying and claim you have no self aware then they are probably right. You behave like a wild child. You don't even have the ability to assess yourself, that is how bad you are. You got issues.
