LOL, standard Rosebank. Always been like this way back into the Jika days. Rolling in money but you'd be lucky for there to ever be a party pie or sandwich quarter per player at tea.
of course not RE Preston area, on record as saying mergers are needed. more suggesting that its a shame for mine that Strathewen are in the comp, good bunch of blokes but it makes no sense, its so far its not even really diamond valley territory. club in royal park makes much more sense...
hmm...comp now stretches from the very edge of the cbd to strathewen. Not ideal. More than 50 km between the two grounds, the kind of drive that would take an hour and a half of a busy late saturday morning.
Yeah definitely going down to C Grade, still my mail they’re reached out to Colts and got told no.
Anything is possible RE Cobras from 4-8, apart from Rivergum, Ballers and Trinity I don’t see anyone being competitive
The amount of cash Rosebank have splashed since the Tenuta's took over the club would be enough to feed some starving African nations. Obscene amounts of cash
Was at an NWMCA game yesterday and was told one of their clubs are keen on applying to join our comp, wasn't told which side it would be though. Maybe Druids or Rezza-Mayston wanting to coming back due to the travel factor in that comp? Obviously won't be Darebin Chargers lol and I can't see any...
yes. that club seems to have more factions than parliament. been told that two of their loudmouth presidents from the past decade or so now have nothing to do with the club.
firebrace a good appointment yes. ex long time district 1s player and seemed a good onfield leader when i played against...
New season new thread.
Any clearance whispers? been informed by someone who'd know at keon park that williamson is already on his way back to socials after a single season away
just noticed kolep out at socials, along with the coach. Huge loss wonder if the cash has dried up finally at ruthven. relegation favourites, they were a one man band with him. Firebrace a good appointment on paper as a coach, very experienced district 1s player but has been playing 2s at...
Lol Vik from Chargers, what a prize dikhead.
I still remember when they had new rooms built at preston socials old ground at Sullivan and they moved to west lalor's old ground within a year. hopefully current tenants Fiji are a bit more appreciative
if it were a regular 2 day season id rate them almost the clear challenger to rivergum with those 2 blokes bowling 60 a day between them. both guns. sri lankan quick is also a good bowler, but they really need to add at least one more top liner
had a look at socials/kp today. going to be a great rivalry going forward especially after the controversy surrounding last year. kp would've thought they had it In the bag rolling socials for 100 odd but socials did em for 80 odd. sri lankan spinner did a great job with 4 I think
