    mongoose mmi3

Re: mongoose mmi3 That's only on bats purchased between May09 and June10 - however keep an eye out on the website/twitter for offers.

    mongoose mmi3

Re: mongoose mmi3 It was me, Tom, you spoke to. Basically any bat purchased is covered by a 1 yr manufacturing warranty which covers any manufacturing/willow fault. The examples I gave you were a bat snapping in half, however in the unlikely event your Mongoose does suffer any damage whilst...

    mongoose mmi3

Re: mongoose mmi3 Series is definitely meant to be a G3 model. Although the grading is only done on looks, so may well find yourself with a better performing bat which just isn't as pretty. Lou Vincent broke the Lashings 40 over record score (230* or something) with an MMi3 Series.

Re: mongoose mmi3 MMi3 Super Premium LE - We made 50 bats for Matthew Hayden, he picked 10 and the others went up for sale numbered and signed. MMI3 Custom Pro is G1. MMi3 Custom is G2. MMi3 Series is G3 EW in Snr or KW in Jnr.

    mongoose mmi3

Re: mongoose mmi3 The whole blade will be about the same thickness as the middle on your bat. It doesn't really taper at the toe or shoulders.

    Mongoose Bat

Re: Mongoose Bat They're £150 RRP Phil, meaning you can pick one up from a number of retailers for £115. When you buy direct from Mongoose for the full RRP you get it custom and handmade in England, more so than of the brands mentioned in your post.

    sponsorship

Re: sponsership A load of the smaller companies will offer a 'sponsorship' to players of all abilities. That basically means you buy all their kit and they'll knock anything from 20-50% off.

    Mongoose Bat

Re: Mongoose Bat Liz, Whereabouts are you based? As I have said in other threads I do some work for Mongoose, so am happy to let you try out a bat with your Juniors. I recently did a day with the Kent cricket coaches and have done a number of days with schools such as Winchester College all of...

    Mongoose Bat

Re: Mongoose Bat Unlikely, no player can use it without being sponsored. Suresh Raina took one out in a game against CSK, but the boys in suits soon called it back as it broke his bat contract. These bats can be made lighter than any other bat on the market, whilst still retaining a decent...

    Mongoose Bat

Re: Mongoose Bat Why should it be outlawed? Yes it provides loads more power, but it's made from traditional materials made in a traditional manner. The difference being you have a smaller striking area. The pure excitement of the crowd and fans seeing it tells me that it's a much needed...

    what do you think

Re: what do you think The Shark is only 1" shorter than a standard bat, will make little difference to the way you play. What bat catches your eye? Which bat do you use currently? At 16 you don't want to make a mistake of buying a heavy bat because it looks impressive, it's much more...

    Willow grades question

    Fake cricket bats

Re: Fake cricket bats If you want custom made I would say buy from your local batmaker rather than the Shot! ones. The Shot! ones are made in India, whereas you can visit your local batmaker and choose a cleft.

    Willow grades question

Re: Willow grades question Willow is graded on looks, so you can easily have a better playing G4 than a G1. Btw JS Wright's have a different grading system for willow buyers than the one on their site.
