getting faster

Looking for advise on generating a little more pace.

Are there any good weight lifting movements to do, or should i focus on rythym?

Any tips would be great!!

I'm sure one of our coaches will provide you with some tips soon. There are a 1 or 2 thread in our Fitness and Nutrition forum related to fast bowling that you may want to check out.

Wally, if you check the board over the next few days you'll some answers to a very similar question that was posed to Peter Wellings, check out the thread in general cricket discussion.

I would say that there is no one thing that you can do to increase pace - it's a case of trying to optimise all areas of your action, movement, flexibility and rhythm all play a part. I'd say check out the core training thread in the fitness and nutrition forum - this will give you more information.

Why not both? As I say to all people who post with that question (excluding myself), post a video of your action and we can give specific snippets of help.
