Just saw a post earlier about money for the site.

Since this is a free site, where does the money come from to do anything? Advertising mostly I am guessing?

If so I wouldn't mind more ads around the place if that means more money.

Just curious, that's all. Can never have too much money.

That's good then, because I must be the complete opposite of evil!

I like to think of myself as 'financially neutral'.

If we want stuff done then we have to go back to the parent organisation, who assess the request.

However, I would like to earn revenue of some kind, in order to improve the site and hopefully be able to sponsor teams in the future.

Not in any way really my business, just curiosity. Just that I have never seen any advertising on this site the whole time I've been here. I do have an ad blocker on my browser, but I have to configure it manually and have never had to 'block' anything on this site.

Since that is the main revenue of any profitable site I thought it was unusual.

Seen it before but still brings a laugh!
