Is Piyush a replacement for Jumbo?

As we know that we are having only one Leg spinner for ODI's and its Piyush. He has been at the top of Selectors mind because of his great Recent Performance.

Do you think he can be a replacement for Legendary Anil Kumble?(Jumbo)

I don't think he has been performing well of late and hence was dropped for the final. Kumble is India's finest bowler; its too early to say whether Chawla could match him.

I always thought that Ohja (sp?) had some potential.

Piyush doesnt look dangerous to me, but hes only young...
I dont think India will have a replacement for Kumble for a long time though, just like
Australia not being able to replace Warne

Its going to be extremely hard, if not impossible, for India to find a replacement Kumble. I think India has more talent in the fast bowling department than spin, currently.

I think the above is true of most countries. England seem to have a few potentials lurking around, but no country seems overrun with spinners.

Too early to compare him with Kumble.
His recent performance in the Asia Cup was not good so he was dropped in the final.
His googly has become too predictable and does not have an effective leg sin.
To get selected he needs to bowl his stock delivery more often.
