Perfect match-up here.
3-3 and the deciding game. Rahul Dravid wins the toss and elects to bat.
Shaky choice, the Commentators say.
Overcast conditions and the sun is supposed to shine this afternoon, making better batting conditions for them and worse bowling conditions for us.

Sourav Ganguly
SachinTendulkar
Gautam Ghambir

That booing of Aleem Dar was disgraceful.
A mistake, yes, but the Indian crowd reaction was disgusting.

I understand that they aren't happy, but it's all very what goes comes around goes around.
The weren't booing when Sreeesanth was given not out in the test at Lords.

Sreesanth isn't a legend who's never going to return to play cricket in this country again.
He's no Sachin.
I'd rather see Sachin bat at full flow rather then a win.
this just sucks.

It basically won a test series for India!
Forget who the batsman was, that means nothing in the umpires decision.

I think they're also just letting off steam for the abysmal Umpiring through this whole series. Its been horrible.
Tendulkar has got flack 3 times just in the ODI's. We're sick of it.

England win! And win the series. Now can they beat Sri Lanka?

No

Anyway what won the series for England was Indias poor fielding. The must of lost about 100 runs due to the fielding.

India will be filing a complaint against Dar after those unbelievably terrible decisions against Tendulkar and Dravid (well, not so much with Dravid). Call it sour grapes, but I think those decisions took away any chances India had of winning the match. The standard of umpiring was poor throughout this tour and I guess this was somewhat inevitable.

With that aside, I think England deserved to win the series. India looks as if it still hasn't solved many of the problems that stood out after the WC exit.

The must of lost about 100 runs due to the fielding.[/quote:68a26]I would completely disagree, what cost them the series was the lack of penetration in the bowling attack against a side with batsmen who, with a few exceptions, put a high price on their wickets and a complete contrast in their middle order, giving their wicket away on numerous occasions. I don't doubt that the Indian line-up has more talent than our's, they just don't have the organisation to perform consistently

Umpiring descisions go for and against you - it's part of cricket.

Just goes to show what you can do when you bowl 4 specialist bowlers.

Very true. Gangully is still on 99 wickets in ODIs <s><img><s>

Imagine if he had Flintoff out for his 100th <s><img><s> <s><img><s>
