Xavier Marshall returns positive test
West Indies opening batsman, Xavier Marshall has tested postive for a banned substance during a camp conducted for the provisional Stanford Twenty20 squad of 32. The Stanford Twenty20 for 20 sees a Stanford All-Stars side take on England for the chance to win $USD20 million, a game where the winner will take all the money on offer.
The test occured during the two week camp which was held in August. Marshall was withdrawn from the side two days ago with the reason given being a "major breach".
Another player also tested positive, Tonito Willett from Leewards also returned a positive test. It is expected that Leewards will deal with Willett's breach seperaetly from that of Marshall.
It is currently unknown which substance the players have tested postive for.
Marshall and Willett both test positive

Huge news, could be career over for Marshall. As stated in the article, the West Indies have a zero-tolerance policy on drugs so Marshall could be facing a lengthy ban or possibly even a life ban.
Not good news for West Indian cricket.
