The Miracle That Wasn't.

Cast your mind back to January. Australia had ben bowled out for 127 in their first innings in the Sydney Test. Pakistan had replied with 333. Austalia had finally passed Pakistan's total 8 wickets down.



Then, Michael Hussey and the unlikely Peter Siddle put together a partnership that almost bettered Australia's entre first innings, and then Pakistan collapsed to be all out for 139.

Murali- The question mark will always remain

So Murali has announced his retirement from Test cricket after the first Test against India in Galle starting July 18.

Congratulations Usman Khawaja

NSW left-hander Usman Khawaja has been named in the Australian Test team to face Pakistan in two Tests in England. Khawaja is 23 and was born in Islamabad, Pakistan. He arrived in Australia aged four and is believed to be the first Muslim to be selected to represent Australia.



On the back of his good Sheffield Shield numbers and some impressive innings for Australia A, he gets his chance...

The 50 Over Conundrum

So it looks like Cricket Australia is going to go continue with the 50 over version of the one day game, with the big change of splitting the game into two innings of 25 overs for our domestic one day game.



Apparently the tv networks wanted to telecast the full 50 overs rather than shortening the game to 40 overs like what has happened in England & South Africa.

I wasn't going to even touch Michael Clarke and Lara Bingle- but I couldn't help myself. And its mainly because I wanted to post a pic of Bingle and even got a cricket related one.

I think the person who released the nude shower photo of Lara Bingle wasn't actually Tiger Fevola.
