The Madrid Magic will face the Kingston Kings in the first ever BigCricket Fantasy Cricket League One Day Grand Final.
It what looms to be an exciting encounter the Kingston Kings will go into the game favorites after finishing on top of the ladder after the home and away season. The Magic qualified for the Grand Final after winning their best of three series 2-0 against the in form Nuggets. These two games will give Dirk Kuyt and his Madrid team plenty of confidence heading into the all important Grand Final.
The Kingston Kings, expertly captains by the wily Frodo have been a force in the one day competition all season so it is no surprise to see them in the Grand Final. In complete contrast to this there the Kings Test form was rather poor and as a result they missed out on the finals.
Key Match Ups
Frodo (KK) v Dirk Kuyt (MM)
A battle of the captains and star bowlers. Both would love nothing more than to have a win especially considering who their opponents are. Dirk Kuyt has Frodo covered in the sledging stakes but Frodo makes up for this with his captaincy.
Frodo - 16 wickets @ 25.3, E/R of 4.3
Dirk Kuyt - 19 wickets @ 25.6, E/R of 4.9
Hardly anything between these two but i'm giving Dirk Kuyt for his ability to turn a game from any situation.
Ozelite (KK) v doggiesin08 (MM)
The competitions premier bowler in Ozelite will be the key for this Kings lineup. He has proved all season that he is a force to reckoned with and will no doubt be amongst the wickets once again. It will be the job of in form Magic batsman doggiesin08 to stop Ozelite. Despite his recent form in the Tests his one day form this season has been below par and he will need to pick this up if the Magic are going to win.
Ozelite - 27 wickets @ 17.9, E/R of 4.7
doggiesin08 - 179 runs @ 22.4, S/R of 90
Ozelite also has the competitions most wickets, best average and best figures in an innings. Ozelite should win this battle comfortably however it is finals and anything can happen.
carn tigez (KK) v Tristo (MM)
One of the competitions best bats against a very underrated bowler. carn tigez has been dominating attacks all season and it will be difficult for the Magic to stop him. Tristo is a quality bowler and will not be easy for the Kings top order to get away.
carn tigez - 599 runs @ 59.9, S/R of 96
Tristo - 15 wickets @ 25.9, E/R of 4.6
If Tristo can tie down carn tigez then he could get him out early and that would be a big blow for the Kings.

Tristo clean bowls Hougie for 15 last time they met.
I'm going to tip the Kings in this one by 27 runs or 3 wickets in what should be an enthralling final.
