I'm going to leave it there cap. Putting that post in the Aus in Eng thread will make the thread come across as too-Australia focused. We've copped criticism in the past about BC being too Australia-based so we're trying to get away from that.

Gbatman's post is good and I'd rather it stay there and be a thread for Australian supporters to voice their opinions about their own team for the Ashes series.

Good idea with the draft. Being an architect, you would have loved the Buildings Draft we did on BS a few years ago. Should check out the threads on it sometime.

Yes same here. Cricket grandy on sat final day and we need 6 wickets they need 100 runs. Should be a good game. Its been 14 years since our clubs first's have won the premiership, we have been underfeated and so stand a bloody good chance. I don't think I will be seen for a week if we win . fingers crossed

Just to show its not just cricketers like Andrew Symonds who like to take the occasional drink a bit too far, I present NRL player: Nate Myles.

Its ironic that the guy with the biggest forehead in the WORLD, doesnt make use of the space and has the smallest brain in the world.

I'm sure we're all waiting for Steve Noyce, the Roosters chief executive, to front the...

From Brett Lee's heel tap jump to his chainsaw, the wicket celebration is one of cricket's most celebrated form of expression.

You've got Monty Panesar's run and jump celebration.

And Shoaib Ahktar's flying aeroplane wicket celebration.

I've been one of Brett Lee's biggest supporters over the years, however I'm not sure that he should've been picked for the Ashes at all, let alone a first test berth.

Even before selection and before he'd even bowled a ball since recovering from his injury Lee was spruiking his worth to the selectors.

PACE spearhead Brett Lee has defiantly vowed to take the new

All I can say is lucky Ricky Ponting became captain during an era when Australia was full of champions, otherwise he wouldn't have won much.

In these days where coaches have computers and statistics setup on every aspect of the game, the opposition, their main method of dismissal, favourite shots, weak shots, plans of attack etc, it still comes down to the captain to read...

Some big names have just been cut from the list of Cricket Australia's contracted players for the 2009-10 season.

Phil Jaques, Shaun Tait, Adam Voges and Beau Casson have paid the price for injuries and poor form and have been cut from the squad.

The notable additions being the impressive Callum Ferguson and Graham Manou.
