I was meaning to post this weeks ago, but I've finally found time now.
Australia have pulled out of two tours to Pakistan this year due to security concerns.
Australia were due to play two Test matches and four one-day internationals in Pakistan in March this year, however this was 'postponed' due to a "wave of violence in Pakistan surrounding last month's elections," including bomb blasts and shootings.

Well yesterday we had the big media apology from Andrew Symonds. He appeared on camera making a statement that seemed to be memorised from whatever his manager had written for him to say.

Well the IPL has finished with glory to Shane Warne & Shane 'Hospital' Watson.
The time difference between India wasn't very helpful to those here who wanted to watch a lot of games.
The games which started early here- around 9pm were good to watch until the end. The games that started around 10:30 here, I'd watch the first innings, but not the second, and games any later than that, well they were a write off!

After a series of controversy in Australia where Singh was found guilty of racially abusing Andrew Symonds which was later downgraded, then called an obnoxious little weed by Matthew Hayden, he's returned home to India only to hit the headlines for the wrong reasons again.

Its been big news in the cricketing world, maybe not so much in the US, but its time for a rant.
The Indian cricketing team is currently touring Australia, and during the match being played in Sydney 3 weeks ago, one of the Indian players, Harbhajan Singh allegedly called Andrew Symonds, an Australian player of West Indian descent, a “monkey.”
