Its a pitty all you WDCA blokes have got nothing better to do than pot blokes for their lack of ability or their loyalty. If you blokes are telling the truth then so be it. It is only park cricket in the end we are all playing so lets just move on and worry about own cricket. Who cares which comp is better. There is no one in the Churches Comp who has said we are better. I am from the Churches Comp and admit that our Top 4 sides would would probably struggle against your top four sides. However, there is 1 big benefits of playing in our comp compared to yours. This is, we have a much more equal competition where club is more of a chance of winning unlike the WDCA where 1 side (Grand United) continuely dominates the comp by throwing large sums of money to the best cricketers and therefore the other clubs struggle. How would you playing for a team like Laverton, Wyndhamvale or Footscray ANA knowing you cant win a flag becuase Grand United have to much money and therefore can buy there flags each year.

Dont know where u get your info?I know for a fact they(GU)pay 1 player money...........Most of the rest, came through their juniors,theyve been there 20 years plus?????????The 2 guys who have coached the last 10 years do it 4 the love of their club(LOYALTY)......NO MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much spot on. Park cricket is park cricket - regardless of comp, the best park cricketers are all about the same, the average cricketers are all about the same, and the hit and miss cricketers are all just about as hit and miss as each other.

At the end of the day, I think we're all equally disappointed by the weather. Shattered that a potentially intriguing second week in all four games has been ruined by rain.

O'toole aka the axeman, bats like one too, been around the traps, great park cricketer, just hasnt got the discipline to play higher grade of cricket. Rate him as one of the best juniors ive seen play, shame he didnt go on with it.
