WELL Mr Sturgess i know Joel and Jevon and if i give myself up i have made a couple of enemies and me playing football in th eNorthern league Joel has quite the temper so i would not look forward to that! How about you put your name up and we'll see what responses we get in regards to your cricketing ability? Because I know nothing about you mate, you know me, you know what I've done, where I come from, where I play and what grade I play. Even if you said your name I wouldn't know a thing about you, so why not give the others a chance to have an opinion on you?

To answer your question, Dayne Smith is a very under rated cricketer. I dont know how he goes under the radar of Falcons, becuase I believe he is just about the best all rounder in the Valley at 16's level at the moment. Dan Cocking, good bowler, just needs to get bigger to bowl with more pace, but does have some talent the boy. Shane, also needs to get more pace. Know's where to put it and can swing it.

Let us know who you are Don, I'd like to hear peoples thoughts on you. I am off now, will be on later to hopefully hear all the wonderful things about yourself, if you build up the courage to let everyone know what a great player you are.

No, not even close.

If anything he's underrated. Bowls quite nippy, rarely any extras, hardly ever any balls down leg side. Certainly one of the top 5 bowlers in the 16's.

along with Mark Phelan
and i agree Dayne is very underrated
but how come you can't put forward the point that Joel Donaldson is terrible
the kid can't do anything on the cricket pitch.

Just for the record, there's probably one or two players actually from North Eltham posting on this forum. And the number is probably at one or two as well in terms of kids playing for the club they actually say they play for!

Diamond Valley are producing some good batsmen if Mitch Johnson, Mark Phelan or Tom Gilmore are as good or even better then Ben Abbatangello cos he is a very good player.
