Jolldo, I can always rely on you to give the swift answers!

How will there not be a bye?

Hopefully a new team from one of the local boards. If not then we'll discuss the merits of a bot team which would be preferable to a bye imo.

Jolldo you could have a system wherby each there is 1 test match and the 3 other sides play 2 one day games each.

For example
Monday - Friday: A v B (Test Match)
Monday - C v D (One Day)
Wednesday - C v E (One Day)
Friday - D v E (One Day)

The negative would be hard to fixture perhaps (although not too hard) and the fact that teams would play 3 times as many ODs as Tests but just another option.

get the weekends off though. Jolldo can go to his parties now

But really Jolldo it could work as 8 tests, 16 ODs, 8 T25 games. I'd do the fixture if you want.

That's actually a really, really good system. Continues the interest all week. Wow, great thinking Doggies.

Good suggestion.

But another side is far more likely at this stage.

no problem, be very carefull of over expansion. For mine I would have just kept it at 4 teams for atleast the first 2-3 seasons, if their is enough interest give sides a reserves team.

I'm absolutely against having 5 teams and think a new team just 'off the streets' so to speak isn't a good idea, considering Hougie has just orchestrated the whole Chittagong Cheetahs with players who weren't even registered on BigCricket and no-one knows just how much they're going to post.
