Just on Talent, what sets apart clubs like Keon Park, Rosebank, Camrea from the rest. We know they have the best talent "money can buy" it's not just that though, that is the jealous response. Most guys have been there for a few years or more, how do they pick the right recruit? How do they keep them? Can you develop your juniors into that team? Is it luck to have quality juniors come through your ranks. Do you need to pay $X per year in inducements to be competitive?

Its a 3 dimensional problem though.

Line and Height and depth (when the ball hits the pad, what is the angle or line of trajectory).

Refer to the earlier posts. There is still a chance that you could be out but the further you come forward the less chance (not no chance) of an LBW.

Now grimace u know i wasnt out that day, must be a bad call when the bowler even says it wasnt close to hitting the stumps, i guess u may have had to get somewhere else in a hurry. are we allowed to hit the ball on to our pad these days and get given out lbw is that a new rule, oh boy i dont know with some of these umps.
