Not really. 7 ODI's is just overkill. 5 ODI's and 3 tests would have been the ideal compromise.

Dont know why the hell England is already back there, been only about 2 years since the last tour

Stupid scheduling by India, but obviously hoping by a short series they can steal a win and draw the other, the tests will be decided by the toss, more than usual due to the short series

As for the ODIs, who really cares? Might pull off a few early wins as the Indians continue celebrating their test series win over Aus

I'm glad about that, it gives us a wake-up call and we never win a series after winning a warm-up match so I'm feeling confident now!

1st ODI - India v England at Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground, Rajkot

India XI: Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, *+ MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Munaf Patel

England XI: Ian Bell, +Matthew Prior, Owais Shah, *Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Andrew Flintoff, Samit Patel, Ravi Bopara, Stuart Broad, Stephen Harmison, James Anderson

Game is well underway. England won the toss and chose to bowl first but that decision hasn't paid off at this stage with India 0/93 after 16 overs. Gambhir and Sehwag have opened well scoring 46 and 39 respectively. Flintoff has the the only fast bowler to limit the runs scoring with the other three quicks going for 5+ runs per over.
