Conlan Gunn
Terry Keays
Leigh McTaggart
Elliot Smaele
Paul Hubber
Shane Waddingham (even though he did play e grade 2 yrs ago and tear my club apart in a grand final)

The reason why you didnt even consider Travis hand(monty) and Brent Zerafa (lower plenty)

i basicly picked a barclay shield side, i wouldnt mind seeing a barclay v money game i reckon it would be alot closer than ppl think.

yeah zerafa is another one i just couldnt fit in there, i know he played in the comp side last yr and i know he scores plenty of runs.
But i had to fit a keeper in there and i thought well turns can do it, lovey took plenty to 4 prems in a row would be a great captain skips prob the best bat atm yarra has had 10 - 15 years of dominating same with witcher. its actually bloody hard to pick. a 2nd side would be just as competative

Poyser
Connelly
Malone
Zerafa
Gunn
Smale
Waddingham
Keays
McTaggart
Adams
P.Hurst

for the reputation surrounding the bloke, this rosbrook from plenty hasnt seemed to make a big impact.
would he make the comp side to play the HDCA/JIKA games ?

This best 11 would dominate many other A grade rep sides.
1 MarK Minney (EL)
2 Rosebroock (PY)
3 D.Love (PY)
4 W.Glynn (DC)
5 T.Keays (LS)
6 S.Gibbs (RV) Capt
7 E.Smale (RV)
8 B.Zaffera (LP)
9 J.Whiticher (LE)
10 Turner (RH)
11 P.Hurst (EP)

bigcricket007 will become famous soon enough
Default Re: DVCA: Best senior 11?

I still don't understand how any of you blokes have left Arnberger out of your best senior XI's. Last I checked, he fitted the criteria:

- is a senior cricketer
- plays D.V.C.A

As good as all our DVCA local legends are... none of them has over 6000 FIRST CLASS runs.

Just a quick question also... what is with the lack of Money Shield blokes nominated? If Shane Warne was playing at a Money Shield club... would he get looked over because he isn't grinding away with the 'big boys' in Barclay?

Just because a club is in a lower grade, doesn't make a talented individual any less of a cricketer... there is some decent talent floating around in Money Shield. Anyway, thats just MY opinion.
