question about transfers

hi ive got currently 14 players in my squad which is the minimum and 2 of the players are transfers and their contracts are about to finish will i be able to re-new their contracts, and how can i make them stay permanently at my club?

the "contracts" are only in place so that you can't sell a player that you purchased within 40 days (might be a different number). once the contract runs out the player is still on your team, but now you can list him again on the TM.
