Yes did play the 3 spinners, but liam henkel wasnt in the side for his bowling. Sachin and Matt are two very good spin bowlers and definately worthy of a spot.

Liam has made the most runs easily so far this year in the under 17s and also shown very good form in the seniors with over 230 runs in his last 3 hits including a ton which definately earns him a spot.

Sam Brook, in my opinion not worthy of a spot in this team, you can see he does have some potential but has failed to impress from what ive seen. Actually would struggle to get in my 2nd XI when you compare him to some of the others that missed out.

A lot of players stiff to miss out which is a good sign for the hdca showing their improved depth of under 17s this year.

harsh on henkel,
has made a truckload of runs this season,
including a ton in third grade

i think people are seriously overlooking the efforts of brendan moncrieff.
he does a superb job keeping for the heidelberg u/17 green side.
his witty calls are quite brilliant also.
