and i think its out of bundoora op's coburg and preston

atm coburg are looking like the strongest team
the only reasons surely you would change the batting and bowling order of such a 'prestigious' team is if you think the opposition is going to be a breeze...
if your coaches are going to be arrogant pricks then i dont think you would deserve to win.. guess well just have to see.. also op's are a one man team.. get out trent groom and the op's will crumble.. i heard in the first round he made a massive score and the rest of the team didnt do much.. but as i said well just have to see

i dont see ivanhoe's batting be able to hold up against the likes of prestons
denier, brady, kelly, simmonds, powick. esspecially if you relying on the likes of the TREMENDOUS karl heckman and mitch lovell to dominate them.
tomorrow night will be fun, so we can see how correct 333 was
first of all to that, carl heckman made a fifty first round against 'one of the best teams' so we can rely on him.
and clearly there best bat is either of those two, anthony domini is a freak!
shane would be decent if he could make a run quickly, but hes solid.
and matt lincoln is a gun, no matta what anyone says he is a GUN!
and 333 was right. game winner in round 2 apparently.
so i rekon we give ivanhoe hallf a chance today!
good luck boys

I'm a Preston boy, and i agree, that run out was a disgrace, but I think we still would have got over the line regardless of the run out, we were on fire towards the end, and the kid that got run out wasn't great. Overall, a good tight game, perhaps the kick in the arse we needed.

i have to disagree with you there joel
i think that if that umpire hadnt given domini out he would have won the game for ivanhoe
he is a terrific bat and was looking dangerous

today ivanhoe played really well and preston didnt see it coming

have to agree
a massive kick in the ase for preston

to be fair to ari gold
we have both played with karl when we were a little bit younger and back then he was a slogger that came in at about 7 and could only hit on the leg side
to day he batted very well

he has improved out of sight and still hits a hard ball on both sides of the wicket now

major improver

The Whole Ivanhoe Team Played Well Today
Took it the if not best 2nd best side in our comp.
Bowling was right on target.
And to defend the Rosanna Boys Sammy and Sean both bowled well taking early wickets and both getting hit for under 12 runs in there 5 overs was a brilliant start.
It was a great game and couldve easily have gone the other way
Domini is a great bat and that umpire is an abseloute blind ****er.
Good Luck to Preston Tho
They dug in deep in the end and held on
Great effort By Ivanhoe after all the talk they put the critics to rest showing that they are one of the better sides in this Comp

yeah well we were so surprised when we were 2-1 off 2 overs
not the start we were expecting
preston were very lucky and we all thought the game was lost when ivanhoe were 3-89

i praise ivanhoe on their efforts today

Yeah, well done to Ivanhoe and good luck for the rest of the series. As for Preston, we need to bring our A game to Coburg, end of story.

atm coburg are looking like the strongest team
i think you guys are forgetting the teams from the south,
Ormond won the whole thing last year and atm are 3-0
very good side with Walker and Stait opening the bowling.
Arvind Krishnamoorthy has been batting real well against the new ball
Josh Manning and Tim Snape at 3 & 4 today put on 110 for the 3rd wicket manning ended with 70 and snape got 60,
Cameron and Forato haven't had much of a bat yet in the tournament but both can get big scores.

I think ormond will go through from South
Oakleigh from East
Preston or Coburg from North
not sure on the west really

cheers
