That's disappointing for Zimbabwe but not totally unexpected.

Hopefully Bangladesh can at least make it a close game against Sri Lanka.

Final game is in the balance at this point.

Match was reduced to 31 overs per side due to heavy fog. Sri Lanka struggled in the conditions and limped to 147 all out from 30.3 overs with Sanath Jayasuriya top scoring with 51, Jayawardene and Kapugedera both made 28.

Mashrafe Mortaza bowled well early on taking two wickets at the start of the innings and then coming back on to remove Jayasuriya. Debutant Rubel Hossain bowled very well, taking four wickets in a reasonable effort.

In reply, Bangladesh started horribly, Junaid Suddique was run out for a diamond duck in the first over, Mushfiqur Rahim edged Thushara behind ten minutes later and then Tamim Iqbal ran himself out for nine to leave Bangladesh 3/11. However, Shakib al Hasan has lead the recovery, scoring 39 from only 27 balls with three fours and a six. Skipper Mohammad Ashraful has doen the right thing and hung around for eight off 17.

Bangladesh are 3/63 from 11 overs. Required rate is only 4.25, Sri Lanka need to get rig of Shakib otherwise it could be all over.

Bangladesh only need to win the game in order to play Sri Lanka in the final.

Shakib is a star. There's no doubting that.

Bangladesh are 4/126 off 21 (31).

Shakib is on 79 off only 61 balls.

Bangladesh need 22 runs off 60 balls to win the match and make the final.

Bangladesh won by 5 wickets with 43 balls to spare.

Shakib was the hero making 92 runs not out off 69 balls including ten 4's and two 6's.

Bangladesh will play Sri Lanka in the final. Zimbabwe unfortunately miss out.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 152 with only 2 balls remaining in their innings.

At one stage they were 5/54 before Raqibul Hasan began the rebuilding job. Raqibul ended up making 43 not out off 107 balls to make the match into a contest. Mahmudullah chipped in with 26 and Naeem Islam got 21.

For Sri Lanka Mendis and Kulasekara each got 3 wickets and Murali took 2.

In response Sri Lanka have collapsed to 5/30 off 14 overs.

Amazingly at one stage in this innings they were 5/6. Unbelievable stuff.

Nazmul Hossain has 3 wickets, Mortaza has one and Shakib got a run out.

Sangakkara is on 13 and Mubarak is on 12.

Mubarak is run out by Naeem Islam for 16!!!

Sri Lanka are now 6/56 off 23 overs requiring another 97 runs for victory.

If Bangladesh can get Sangakkara they are a real shot to win this one.
