Re: Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in Bangladesh
Final game is in the balance at this point.
Match was reduced to 31 overs per side due to heavy fog. Sri Lanka struggled in the conditions and limped to 147 all out from 30.3 overs with Sanath Jayasuriya top scoring with 51, Jayawardene and Kapugedera both made 28.
Mashrafe Mortaza bowled well early on taking two wickets at the start of the innings and then coming back on to remove Jayasuriya. Debutant Rubel Hossain bowled very well, taking four wickets in a reasonable effort.
In reply, Bangladesh started horribly, Junaid Suddique was run out for a diamond duck in the first over, Mushfiqur Rahim edged Thushara behind ten minutes later and then Tamim Iqbal ran himself out for nine to leave Bangladesh 3/11. However, Shakib al Hasan has lead the recovery, scoring 39 from only 27 balls with three fours and a six. Skipper Mohammad Ashraful has doen the right thing and hung around for eight off 17.
Bangladesh are 3/63 from 11 overs. Required rate is only 4.25, Sri Lanka need to get rig of Shakib otherwise it could be all over.
Bangladesh only need to win the game in order to play Sri Lanka in the final.
