Default Kookaburra Kahuna Ricky Ponting Bat?

any body held one, or own one....?

i'm tempted as our club has just gained sponsorship using Kookaburra Kit.

They're all right. Suffer from the usual Kook problem of being a bit soft but you can sort that out with the right prep (which I know you know!).

If you get a decent price for it, then go for it.

well we have just signed a deal with Kookaburra / readers to supply our club kit this year, so it will have a reasonable discount.

i just want something to go in between my newbury samurai and the sapling?

i'm sure a few hours of knocking in will do the trick!!

I have last season's Kooka Kahuna Players. It's pretty good, got a great pick up, when it hits right on the middle it comes off so damn good that I cream my pants, if it hits around the middle it still comes off really good. Go for it I reckon. I'm loving it so far.

I love the Kookaburra bats but have heard so many stories or broken toes/handles. etc.

How much was your discount?

Had a genuine Ricky Ponting Kahuna and it was awesome, lovely pickup and good sized profile.

well it would be rude to disclose the exact amount of our discount but The Uk Disty for Kookaburra struck a very good deal.

I now have the Bat and have started knocking it in.

Broken toes off bats are generally down to not knocking it in, or a yorker in the wrong place. i have spent ages knocking in the toe already!

plus i will be putting a protective sheet over it asap!

I got the Kookaburra Kahuna Ricky Ponting (the one just below the players edition) at the start of this season.

It came pre-knocked in, and I only knocked it in for a further 1-2 hours.

Amazingly good quality willow, as I've hit sixes off the TOE of the bat that have sailed 30m+ over the boundary.

If you can afford it ($600 from GCCC), it's well worth the cost.
