Duminy has shown some good signs in the ODI arena and has a habdy off spinner up his sleeve too. Shaun Marsh is a really good prospect for the future.

Krejza is a prospect. Not as much of a prospect as the media like to think, but he could develop into a very handy player. He won't be a worldbeater, he won't repeat his Test debut performance, and there is a reason he only averages 45 in First Class cricket to date, but that doesn't mean he can't develop his game, grow in confidence, break into the Aussie side and average 30 odd. He has the potential, it's just a matter of putting it all together.

I definitely agree to you. He does have the potential to cement his place in the Australian side.

I am sorry but I just wanted everybody to hear it from me first and not from the media in a few years time.

Agreed but I do not see averaging 30 odd in test cricket as being a prospect.

A prospect is a player for the future who will do well, i.e. Ajantha Mendis not someone like Krejza who at best will have a career with little sucess if he has one at all at international level that is.

I think Marsh has the potential to develop into a good odi player but I can't see him with a test career with a first class average of 34 and he has played 50 games which by then you should have an average of at least 45 to be a prospect.

An average of 30 odd in Test cricket is not a bad effort at all. That's what Brett Lee averages. Ntini averages 28. It's a pretty standard average for a good-but-not-standout Test bowler.

Mendis is an outstanding prospect. Krejza is a decent prospect who may have a successful Test career, or may not.

Yeah. Once a team read him properly, he won't as effective as he has been in past. He is simply going to be whacked (no offense to Mendis fans). We have seen India recovoring and reading him much better last year during the ODI series in Sri Lanka.

Steyn isn't really emerging as he has been around since 2004.
