Why not just make the batting averages 99?

They're the same averages as the game that was simmed in your thread.

It's the only way to increase the run rate.

So make it 99 and increase it even more.

Quite probably, but it wasn't meant as a troll.

just see how the sim works in the first 15 overs, and you'll understand!!

The problem is that the higher it goes, the fewer players get to bat. But that's 20/20 anyhow.

And the difference is that the high scorers will get higher as the sim assimilates scores. Thus, there could be huge differences in averages of players.

Just like T20 really.

Anyway, what are your plans with this Jolldo? I read on a different thread you were intending to spread it out to perhaps 2 games a week?

I'd suggest a game every 2 days. I understand that it might be hard to run like that, and that the captains wouldn't have enough time to make deadlines etc, but if the captains knew I'm sure they could make a special effort, or any other member of the leadership group.

As for the stress on you, I also understand that, but there's plenty of people here that would help you.

With the 2 games every week or so, that's 6 weeks away from now that the new season begins. That's a little too long IMO.

If there's a game every 2 days, it narrows down to about 3-4 weeks. Perfect length.

I'm going away Sunday - Thursday so i can't put games up then.

I was planning to put a match thread up tomorrow so i could post the game just before i go away then someone could put the match threads up whilst i'm away and i'll put the games up as soon as i get back.

Then we will have a game every 2-3 games.

A game every 2 days sounds good.

If the comp runs for any longer than 4 weeks it'll be a bit too long in my opinion. Give a day extra in preparation for the finals.
