There's a big bridge that links Spotswood from the city, thousands of people use this bridge on a daily basis. Turf Cricket is obviously not one of these people.

even if you don't have a bloke batting, you could use masking tape to tape up a box on a synthetic wicket and tell him all he has to do is get the ball in the box, regardless of pace. repeat until it feels normal and he gradually increases his pace.
