Nah
E Grade and F3 at Anthony Beale where there are no change rooms, only 2 practice nets, canteen, very little if any shelter, and only public toilets is a far worse decision. The pavilion is being redeveloped.
Grounds aren’t great either. I know that it keeps the two Lower Plenty teams...
Comp doesn’t need clubs to help them make commonsense decisions. The DVCA has enough people with cricket knowledge to see that those games that were still playing at 5.00pm could have gone for another 90 minutes to get their overs in.
God there stupid rules in DVCA cricket. Why the hell don’t games on day one play til 6.30pm. Too many games stopped at 5.00pm with 10-20 overs to go. Ridiculous.
With 90 minutes of sunny weather going to waste.
We in the lower grade decided we would play our overs. We just kissed afternoon...
Sound like some muck raking rumour. Best team won and maybe some there was some brotherly banter.
I love how people stir the pot without being there.
Both teams knew the consequences of the loss/win. Played in a very competitive spirit.
Most blokes on here forgot what is was like to...
Actually it’s a massive ground.
In that no player should have their details undisclosed. Imagine at the presentation night, when they announce the batting award winner in F3 as ************* with an average of 50.24.
Supposedly glue and knife damage. Reduced the game to 55 overs. This left only one team being able to win.
Hopefully it doesn’t take away from the big innings last week.
