Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Four)
thanks macca, yeah i've got just about twice the runs to wickets this year, improved alot with the bat this year, though not getting any chances really to do anything, only bat if we are 100-9 or needing a stupid amount of runs per over.
Hoping to be an all...
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Four)
hi all hope everyone is having a good season, i'm having a fairly decent season, passed 50 wickets for the season last weekend. Still suffering from inconsistency problems regards my action which seem like it can still fall apart overnight occasionally...
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)
finally wasn't on a losing side, lol. batted 11 had to stay in with the no 6 bat with 15 to win and was told just not to give my wicket away ended up blocking 4 overs or so of balls by myself and with the scores level managed to get myself out for a duck...
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)
to be honest the normal captain would have probablly given me a couple of extra overs but i knew something wasn't quite right and when my 9th ball disappeared half way down a cow field about 70m or so away i decided it probablly wasn't great to keep myself on.
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)
congrats jim it sounds like you have joined a better club for you and sounds more like my club though where we enjoy playing cricket more than anything else at the end of the day and everyone gets a go especially on sundays.
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)

Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)
10 overs 2 maidens 2-45 today ; stumping off the opener who made 70 odd, and one of the middle order caught at mid off from a lofted drive. Had an lbw turned down near the end that hit a leftie who went back to the ball hitting middle stump lower than half...

Re: Most Underrated bowler of the decade
i'd have to agree with all the bowlers so far vaas certainly doesn't get all of the credit he deserves for how good he was and hoggard very rarely gets the recognition he deserves for the amount of work he put in.
I think the main thing that all the...
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)
tiring firstly hould have drunk more before the game was dehydrated completely by the drinks break, lol. Was good though was turning the ball miles once i got the rhythm right may have to have a think about what to bowl when the batsmen refuse to attack the...
Re: Wrist Spin Bowling (Part Three)

Re: gundalf's cricket blog
