I think it'll just be 1 up and 1 down. With only 8 in the grades it makes sense but would it be such a bad thing for a change of 25% to occur in Dunstan every year and 50% in the grades below (if it were 2 up and 2 down)?

Disagree Chunkster, I think two up & down keeps the comp more even.
Cant get a better example than this year, Mulgrave clearly not the side they once were and Donvale struggling, whereas Wright has 3 sides with significant depth that I believe would be more than competitive in Dunstan.

I think you misread me a bit. I said I think it will be 1 up 1 down but questioned if it would be such a bad thing for the scenario you outlined to come to pass.

I have now heard that it will definitely be 1 up and 1 down which, like you, I think is a bit of a mistake.

Donvale need a miracle to survive now. Wright Shield very competitive at the top end so no telling which side will be the 1 up.
 
Which dunstan club that is doing very nicely have sooked up big time on their website accusing their lower grade opposition of stacking their team after being bowled out by a 13 year old. I suspect the editor may get a please explain.
