Kumble to assist SA spinners

Anil Kumble has been roped into help youth spin bowlers. I like the idea and I think it is great that CSA has been able to get him to work with young talent. I suspect that the sessions will be held either before the Champions League or after it.

Some of South Africa's leading and up and coming spin bowlers will have a rare opportunity to spend some quality time with legendary Indian spin bowler Anil Kumble, at a coaching clinic in Johannesburg next week.

Kumble will be joined by Proteas stars and fellow spinners Paul Harris and Johan Botha, when a host of spin bowlers will be receiving first-hand coaching from one of the best bowlers of all time.

Experienced players should take note of this and help young talent to ensure that cricket keeps evolving.

It should help your spinners and it will be a great way to pass on knowledge. Although, I've always thought of Kumble as less of a spinner and more of a 'slow' bowler, if you get what I mean.
