Nic Maddinson Chosen For Debut

Australia has chosen Nic Maddinson for his international debut in Thursday's Twenty20 clash with India in Rajkot.

But captain George Bailey says he won't settle on a squad until he can make a proper assessment of the conditions. Unfortunately heavy rain is forecast for the match and might postpone Maddinson's debut.

Appears George Bailey has worked his way to the head of the queue in front of Maddinson, for a berth at number 6 in the first Ashes test.
