Victoria declared at 6/473, Hodge was out for 104, Andrew McDonald made 60 and Rob Quiney made 45 not out.

Paul Rofe bowled well for the Redbacks with 3/80, Shaun Tait took 2/102.

In reply, South Australia have crawled to 1/110 from 55 overs, exactly two runs per over. Daniel Harris was the only wicket to fall, he was out to McDonald for 18. Tom Plant has 45 not out and Michael Klinger has 31 not out against his old team.

Slow going for South Australia but they have wickets in hand, they would need to bat all day tomorrow for a chance at first innings points. It seems that those will be the only points up the grabs in this game unless something can drastically change the outcome.

SA declared at 7/357, handing first innings points to Victoria. Michael Klinger finished 150 not out against his old side and Dan Cullen remained not out on 23.

Shane Harwood was Victoria's only multiple wicket-taker with 2/78. Dirk Nannes, Clint McKay, Andrew McDonald and Jon Holland all got one wicket each.

In reply, Victoria faced 12 overs and got to 1/51 losing Nick Jewell for 17 after he nicked behind off Shaun Tait. Victoria's lead is 167 and there's one day to go. You'd suspect this would be a draw but if the second eleven game is anything to go by there who knows what could happen.
