Western Australia 2022-23 contract list: Ashton Agar*, Cameron Bancroft, Jason Behrendorff, Hilton Cartwright, Sam Fanning, Cameron Gannon, Cameron Green*, Aaron Hardie, Josh Inglis*, Bryce Jackson, Matthew Kelly, Mitch Marsh*, Shaun Marsh, David Moody, Lance Morris, Joel Paris, Josh Philippe, Jhye Richardson, Corey Rocchiccioli, D’Arcy Short, Charlie Stobo, Marcus Stoinis*, Ashton Turner, Sam Whiteman, Teague Wyllie. Rookies: Cooper Connolly, Jayden Goodwin, Sam Greer, Hamish Mckenzie.

Old man SOS strapping in for his 22nd FC season for the Premiers. WOW.
Not much change aside from Guthrie going to Queensland. Fanning earns a full contract after a very good premier cricket season while Wyllie also has a full contract after dominating the Second XI in the two games he played. Bryce Jackson has been upgraded and Charlie Stobo has a full contract too while Sam Greer has earnt a rookie deal as has Jayden Goodwin and Cooper Connolly.

Marsh was always going around again as he was contracted for another season, this will help him as he has another two seasons left on his BBL deal with the Renegades so he'll need to keep playing domestic cricket to keep his touch. It has been touted he might play more red ball cricket than white ball cricket next season but we'll see what happens on that front.

Josh Philippe signed for another two seasons, Aaron Hardie has penned a three season deal while Hilton Cartwright, Corey Rocchiccioli and Lance Morris all signed new two season deals.

Sam Fanning and Charlie Stobo further rejects from my neck of the woods.
Aaron Hardie will play all three formats nationally in next three years if not sooner. A rare all round talent like Cam Green.

WA has four genuine pace bowling all-rounders at the moment, Cameron Green, Aaron Hardie, Mitch Marsh and Marcus Stoinis. You can add in Hilton Cartwright as a batting all-rounder as well.

A pretty remarkable effort to have all of them from one state. Not many of the other states have such stocks of pace bowling all-rounders.

Cameron Green, Aaron Hardie,
Only two I rate in red ball. Both will be genuine all rounders in that they can be picked for either their bowling or batting. Cartwright is middle of the road in both formats while the other two are more white ball specialists.
