That's the one... between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals in the 400 m hurdles and set the world record in the event four times.
 
Think Rome, 1960. No he is not a UK runner.. not a marathoner or a sprinter.. but a runner yes Mal.

Think he ran both. But gold medalled in only one. Reckon that is all the clues.. guess time guys.
I Know our bloke Peter Snell won one of those events in 1960, not sure which one, also one of his great rivals was your bloke from across the ditch Elliot, don't remember what he looks like though... but I'll say him ?
Snell won the double in 1964 in the 800 & 1500.
 
Trivia:
