i have some stats
matthew hayden-136 kgs
steffan jones(somerset)-140 kgs
mark butcher-92 kgs

add more players in this list,it can be a guess too....

Not necessarily, bowling 160kph does require a lot of upper body strength.

i checked the net,

it was in some print media site ,

but it said that during a tour of australia,a former england captain bumped into hayden.hayden asked him his bench stat,telling that his was 300 pounds.in reply that guy told that he doesnt like bragging.


about steffan jones ,check it out in his profile,where he says to bench 140 kgs and squat 200 kgs,hes a former rugby player.
he bowls around 133 kph mark.

mark butcher gave his stat of 92 kgs in an interview and said that due to a rib injury he is barred from benching by his couch.

about symonds,i think hes stronger than lee.
whats inhibiting his speed is his runup and action.
if he bowls with brett lee action or if its the other way around ,i think symonds gonna fare better than lee.

BECAUSE ITS ABOUT ACTION TOO.not only bench strength.
yes, it matters,but a good action is quite necessary.

a good example is ISHANT SHARMA,do u think that he even benches 100 kgs.I DOUBT.but look at his speeds.he bowled 152 kph at his fastest in australia and was regularly bowling 90 mph +.
