Re: Match Fees - How much does it cost you to play?

We didn't go through an agent and he was some kind of con-man who just got as much money as he could off a club before pissing them off and sueing them for damages after they kick him out. He'd done it loads in the past too when we rung up his past clubs. Also he said he was a good batter and he was crap:p

To be honest I don't really know. The senior guys in the club do it, I think by advertising it around the place in newspapers and things.

Re: Match Fees - How much does it cost you to play?

We have no annual fee and pay £5 per match whether home or away.I find cricket fabulously cheap ,and relatively near.
When we raced our Minis lisence fees for me, the wife, my daughter and a mechanic (or Dad as he was known) £400 a year.Every meeting cost £35 to enter and it was 100 mile round trip with 4X4 towing a trailer (about £60 in diesel and £15 on fuel for the race cars) we would have 3/4 races a day each of 6-8 laps of a 1/4 mile track. This on top of regular oil changes (every 2 meetings), repairs (my daughter aged 13-16 raced) and 2 cool boxes of food/drink, makes £5 match fees seem very, very cheap and best of all you get fed.
We have a good day out (Liz, my wife comes to most matches as does my Dad), enjoy the company of everyone in the team, have met some smashing people along the way and I only pay £5 per game and am supplied with food into the bargain. I almost forgot and they let me join in with their game of cricket aswell, I think I made a wise descision to quit racing!!!

Well JB,
Sad to read about the Con-man over rating himself as batsmen.
If ur club requires players then do contact me.
I will try my level best to get the players as per ur club's requirement.
Just PM me the details inculding the commercial's aspects.
