I don't think you can really call Gayle a finisher when he opens the batting haha. Certainly Gayle is the best T20 player in the world at the moment.

What about Hussy, Bevan, Kluesner or Afridi as options?

Lance Kluesner is my favourite.

huss is a little bit classy.afridi is impatient.lance klusener from south africa is good.
 
Gayle and Afridi are the best sloggers in cricket. No player can hit as well as those two.

Klusener was the man about 15 years ago.
 
Michael Bevan was the finisher of his time in cricket. Could pace his innings beautifully to ensure victory was achieved on time and with the minimum amount of risk possible under the circumstances.

For out-and-out hitting it is hard to look past Chris Gayle. With minimum foot movement he can despatch the ball into the next town.
