Don't you need the rain? Living in the central European Sahelean zone I'm without exception always glad when it's raining.Apart from a few warm, sunny days this week we have yet to taste a real Sydney summer. The winds are still quite cool and the rain is hovering.
Tried Binging that zone. Where is it exactly. Do you mean you live in a warm part of central Europe?
Australia's north lies in a Pacific cyclonic belt which as you know bring masses of the wet stuff when they hover over land. Much of that rain then travels south and we in Sydney get drenched. We dont just have showers or rain in Australia we have deluges which destroy crops and livelihoods and hit economies.

This can be the downside of having a very warm day. Hate sleeping when it is too hot. We in the East are usually blessed by cooling easterlies during summer. But not this year with several similar nite temps to what WA is having on the trot lately..rising to the mid to high 20's for the following three days.
How cold has it been Thomas. Looks idyllic all the same. And a white Chrissie . Is that common in you Saharian belt?
Hope it starts cooling down for you guys. Damn that's hot.Getting very hot here for Christmas. 38 degrees for Christmas Eve, 42 degrees for Christmas Day, 41 degrees on Boxing Day and 40 degrees for Monday (27th). The nights aren't going to be cooling down much, a minimum of 22 degrees on Friday rising to the mid to high 20's for the following three days.
