When Haddin was dismissed and walking off the ground I suspect he felt the glare of two million Aussies who were thinking some very evil thoughts about him.Johnson should give up bowling and work on his batting as he could just about hold a spot as a specialist bat. When he is 'on' his technique is as good as any. I hope Clarke does not live off that 152 for the next six months.Cummins is going to need a minder to ward of the prospective women looking to become the next WAG. Poor lad.......

Great win, funny how the three on the chopping block somehow bob up and get us to the win. Could be enough for Ponting to last to the summer and maybe make it his final one.

I recon you are right and i hope Ponting is smart enough to retire at home. Cummins is fantastic for us but i worry he will be over worked with high expectations. He is only 18 and a lot seems to be expected.

So Ponting looks as if he'll hold his spot for the New Zealand tests at least. He's shown he has the ability to play at the elite level but one innings every so often isn't good enough. I feel as if he is trying to hold on to make to the 2013 Ashes and try and prove to everyone he is still a good player and then retire after that.

I think he'll play at home but won't see out 2012.

The talk around Cummins is a bit scary to be honest. And he can't be expected to lead the attack at his age. He'll end up crocked sooner than later with all this crap flying around about him and the pressure that is going to be on him.
