DVCA: Player movements and rumours

Tongs no former hdca clubs think it will be anything close to a walk in the park. Sannab2b is not even playing dvca so stop embarrassing yourself by even giving him a response. It no doubt will be an interesting and competitive season all round

Finally some sense being spoken on this forum, sannab2b aside. The fact that he keeps prattling on about ocka and $$$ is proof that he knows nothing and is just trying to stir the pot. How about we all ignore his posts? All the the HDCA clubs coming across understand how difficult the competition will be in MS, none of them are taking it lightly. Comparing this comps sides vs that comps sides is irrelevant as they aren't playing eachother, and by the time they do (if it ever happens) sides will be different to what they were last season so we will never know. Can't wait for the new season to start, the opportunity to play some new competitive clubs is something to look forward too. Let's move on.

For all those thinking it will be easy for the hdca teams in MS. Have look how GB have gone. When they were in hdca there were some very competitive games between those sides. Let's just see how things pan out. Yes I do play at Greensy so I can attest to what we have gone through. Just can't get over that final hurdle.

And for what it's worth, most DVCA sides would predict that former HDCA clubs Greensy, Rosanna and Heidelberg will make finals, they are good clubs. But they will have a challenge with Lower Plenty, Monty and Eltham. Even South Morang and Whittlesea put up a good show last year.

If Heidelberg and Banyule make the finals in the state their in eg: Ocka doesn't play, the clubs
don't pick up players to fill their losses ect. THE COMP IS CRAP! no ifs' ands or buts.
Call me whatever you like my opinion.

To be fair, Rosanna lost to Heidelberg, Edinburgh and Rosbank last year. They were also saved by the rain against Banyule. Very lucky to win the flag last year.

Nice work from the bears, they kept ocka and picked up a good coach along the way!
they may be the strongest team to come across ever! look like flag favs now.Any news on ocka's brother?

Would think Rosanna and us are both in good positions, probably better positions coming across compared to when Macleod and gboro did. Not sure about the Bergs but sounds like theyve picked up a lot of kids.

Unsure about Socca, last I heard he was staying but Tongs seems to think he's going back to eltham. With occa staying I'd say he will stay at banyule

nice leg glance, you guys are red hot favs!

This is the last time I will say this. Soca is 100% gone. He will be playing at Eltham.

Banyule with Brent only playing a couple of games remember. Good side, but don't know about red hot favourites. Settle down.

If Brent doesn't play (and provided Rowdy isn't playing?), they'll struggle. Very little depth in either batting or bowling.

Struggle! they won't win a game, you saw what happened to them last year. They have two or three good players and the rest are just not up to it. Their 2nds should of been relegated 2 years in a row. If the big boys don't play they won't make the 8, let
alone be competative.
