Re: Australian Domestic Cricket Discussion Thread - 2007/08 Yeah Katich is batting awesomely. Dont know whats wrong with the Blues, cant win a game. The game at Wollongong was washed out in the end, it wasn't raining though but it was pouring the days before.

Re: Sock Cricket Yep, i definately benift from this practise. I haven't had it all season and had some low scores then i got it back up and have been playing with it for ages and got a 24 (My highest) I usually do better after i've had a muck around with it.

Re: Mental Toughness I find visulising bowlers bowling then me hitting the ball gives me a lot of confidence before i go out to bat.

Re: Slips guide to glory! Its not really happening as much anymore, i kind of know where im standing but when they did go over my head i would move back, then sometimes they wouldn't carry! :p But yeah, i know the right place to stand now.

Re: Slips guide to glory! I think the key to being a great slips fielder, isn't all in the technique. After every ball, stand up straight, stretch, talk with the keeper and other fielders, just take away your concertration. Then when the bowlers running in, get your stance and your hands ready...
