Re: U17s SDCCL
Yeah that's me. Joel is a freak, me and him play in the 1s in Menzies shield, he made 89* last week after coming in after tea apparently. They would have to do a massive choke to lose, especially after making 427 off 44 a couple of weeks back
Re: haileybury
I was on the receiving end of the 7/20 last year, that guy is a pure freak. I hear he won't be playing the first week buck due to under 19 commitments, is this true?
Re: Dan Wolfe Back Again...
Nick Jewell just got given Library captain and he will be coming back to bat at number 6 in the 2 dayers. Rumour is that Judd will be offered a house captaincy position to bat at 4 and also play on ball in the footy season to ensure back to back flags
Re: Results from round 4
Fair assessment there Pushfatwo. CGS lost it in the middle stages of the Scotch innings, bowling too short and allowing McMillan to really get on top of us. Both sides had the fumbles, with Scotch dropping 7 and CGS 5, so it was not a good fielding display by either...
Re: Results from Round 1
Geelong College 6/217 after 50 overs
Kitchen 113 (110)
Def by
Caulfield Grammar 6/220
O'Sullivan 56*
Burge 42
Small 42
Very good win from CGS after a great knock from Kitchen, looks like he will dominate most attacks this year, flat batted a few big...
Re: Aps team of the year, 2007-08
Wakefield is a good player, played 1s down at Casey South Melbourne in a couple of games last year. Batted 3 when we played em and smashed the ball around early, will make APS team
Re: Aps team of the year, 2007-08
3 played last year, i don't think that we will be that bad. Astbury is a gun bat and i am tipping Jayaweera to make a couple of big scores. I think the only problem for us will be taking wickets. We have bowlers that are very good at keeping it tight like...
Re: 2007/08 APS 1st XI Captains
Maybe so, but he did score back to back 80s in the 2nds and was going to play 1s the following week, there just wasnt a spot for him with our top order looking stable at the time.
Re: 2007/08 APS 1st XI Captains
Maybe Flannas but on his day, Tom could dominate any attack. He has an awesome cover drive when going and his bat is superb, he just needs to get mentally right before he goes in, threw away some big knocks in the 2s, considering i even made a few
Re: APS Predictions
I rate Noodles, he has actually picked up a bit of pace and given that he is a left armer, could cause some troubles. Can also hold the bat ok too
