Re: whats the bench press of cricketers?
ya,though indians in general are weak as compared to europeans,be it due to stature or the culture of exercising.
most indians are not into gymming and all that stuff, which is more prevalent in australia, usa etc.
a 115 kg bench in india is seen as quite...

Re: Young boy bowling short
one question ,does he bowl on full lenght pitch(22 yards)?
if so,whats his height?
if he's less than 5'6'',then better let him bowl on 16 yard pitch first and gradually increase the pitch length(16->18->20->22)
as he gets older.
i hope this will fix ur problem,if u...
Re: Young boy bowling short
he is trying to put more effort, thats why he is bending his back.
tell him to do some back and stomach exercises(core exercises).
probably hes pulling his non bowling arm a bit too early.
Re: Carry
now more height results in more potential energy, hence more bounce.
check for instance, ishant sharma,he delievered a 110 kph ball that sailed to the keeper standing 18 yards behind the wicket.
in comparison when ganguly bowls the same,it barely reaches 10 yards.
again horizontal...
Re: Carry
bowling speed is a complex matter.

thats the reason that few bowlers get more bounce, even ,when their speed gun recording is the...
Re: whats the bench press of cricketers?
