2010 Australian Indoor Cricket Open Championships (Silverwater, NSW)
The final domestic tournament of the winter has arrived with the Open Championships being held at Silverwater, New South Wales. Western Australia head into the tournament as last year's Open Mens title winners, thrashing Queensland in a one-sided Grand Final. However, WA have a weaker side at the carnival this year so Queensland will be looking to exact revenge and watch out for New South Wales and the ACT to put up strong performances.
The tournament begins today (25th of July) and runs through to Saturday the 31st with GF's being held on the final day with the semi-finals and prelims being played on the Friday. This tournament has four grades, Open Mens, Open Womens, 21 and Under Men and also the Lord Taverners grade (better known as LT's) which is for cricketers who have been diagnosed with some form of learning disabilities (e.g. dyslexia etc). The Open Men's draw has been seeded with WA being seeded number one as they were the champions last year and the team that is seeded ninth is the Northern Territory. Each team will play their games according to their seed number, for example WA plays the NT today (1 vs 9) and then 2 vs 8 and so on.
Let's have a look at the entry list for each Division,
Hopefully we'll start to hear some results and ladders coming through tomorrow which I will provide in this thread. You can also find the tournament draw at the link below.

Should be yet another great tournament and we should see some super indoor cricket played. @|
